Jesus prepares His followers to move forward in our God-given calling through the Holy Spirit. In the Holy Spirit we
must move forward in the Holy Spirit so that we are the light in this dark world. We must constantly maintain the light that is within us to shine forth Jesus Christ for many to be
led to God. That is our calling!
However, there is always the threat of our light being extinguished when we choose to ignore the presence of the Holy Spirit in us. The opposite
of light is darkness. We cannot expect darkness to exist with the light; this cannot happen. We must feed the light in us so that we complete our calling as the Holy Spirit always directs
us to do to the glory of God. If your light is flickering or is turning to darkness, choose to repent and turn to the Holy Spirit for cleansing and renewal in Jesus Christ. |
