| We have been learning about the Colossians and how their faith and walk in the Lord was being attacked by those who wanted
to destroy the Body of Christ – the Church. The methods used by the enemies of Christ are often subtle. They want to guide us into practices that take away the believers’
reverence and submission to God and replace these with man’s hollow traditions and practices. These traditions and practices “look holy,” but have little to do with worshipping and truly
serving God. Believers must be alert and conscientious so that we are not side-tracked from our walk in the Lord. There are many arguments, traditions and false beliefs that are presented
by the enemy to take us away from true worship to the true Holy God. The enemy wants us to “major on the minors” rather than focusing on growing in our true faith in the Lord.
