Paul, in the book of Romans,
takes us from the bondage of the law to the freedom
given to believers through God’s grace.
By God’s love and redemption, sin and death have no
authority over believers in Jesus Christ. The law always
points to our sin,
but cannot free us from sin and death. God, in His love,
gives us the gift of faith, so that in that faith we can
believe in Him,
accept His grace and be truly free in Christ. It is in
Christ, Who is made to be our covering, that we are free
from sin and death.
