God has truly blessed all His children with faith. From the time of our creation, He endowed us with His faith. He also has given
to us the power to believe in Him and to exercise this faith. As we study the earthly ministry of Jesus, we see how the people who heard Jesus teach, minister, and heal so many, and they believed.
They believed in Jesus and His power as they heard about Him from others and experienced Him. That belief caused them to act in faith, knowing that He would meet their requests through their God-given
faith.
Acting on our faith in God takes trust and energy. Put your God-given faith to work. Giving mouth-service to God, wishing, and hoping for
something, will not work. God requires us to put forth the belief, the effort, and the energy to reach out to Him in faith, trusting that He hears us and will meet our needs. |
