It is critical for Christians
to live what we believe, to live our faith. What we
believe must be rooted in God’s Word. We
cannot fall prey to the foolishness and fears of the
world. The Apostle Paul reminded the Thessalonians what
Jesus has taught
us about death. Many believers have confused
understandings about death and what it means to the
believer and to the
unbeliever. Even with death, God has a promise and a
plan for us. Believers in Christ do not die. God
promises those who believe
and accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, eternal
life. This means that some of us will sleep and rest
until Jesus returns and
calls us to Him. Some of us will still be here on earth
when He calls. When the Rapture comes all who are in
Christ will meet Him
on the clouds with changed and glorified bodies. Only
those who are not saved in Christ will die and be
eternally separated from
God.
