As believers in Jesus
Christ, we are called to go anywhere and everywhere to
carry His words of truth to the lost, all
of those needing salvation that only Christ can supply.
We are each the Lord’s disciples, His teachers and His
warriors. Peter
is warning us that even today there are those in the
world and even in the Church, who want to defeat us and
destroy us so
that we cannot be the teachers and warriors that Jesus
calls us to be. These evil adversaries actually study us
and train to
destroy us and the work that we must do. We must stand
firm and move confidently in the Spirit of God so that
we are
victorious in our missions to live righteously, to win
the lost to Christ and to defeat the enemy. We must be
more than
conquerors as the Lord calls us to be. |
