There are so many things that
are wrong and are problems in our world. The cause of
these conditions is sin. God created
this world to be good. Humans chose to sin against God
and bring on the many problems that we see throughout
our times.
Clearly we are part of the problems, but God also sees
US as part of the solution when we submit to Him and are
obedient
to Him. His plan includes those that He allows to serve
as leaders. God requires us to be obedient to those He
places in rule
over us. However, this is no blind obedience. He
requires us to be active participants in this in our
government and to stand
up for His righteousness when rulers violate His
righteousness. Clearly, God sees humankind as part of
the problem in sin, but
He clearly sees us as the solution through our
righteousness in Him. |
