We learned that Jesus heals a blind man by mixing dirt and His spit and placing the mixture on the blind man’s eyes. Then Jesus directs
this man to walk to the pool of Siloam that is about 20 miles away to wash the mud off his eyes. What kind of faith does it take for this man to walk this distance blind with the mud on his eyes for healing?
Would we have that faith if Jesus asked us to do the same? To the glory of God, he is healed! Even though this man had the faith and obedience to do what Jesus asked him to do, he is challenged and questioned
about the healing he experienced through Jesus. How many of us have experienced God’s love and goodness in our lives and shared that with others? Sometimes others joyously share in those experiences,
while others choose not to share our joyous experiences. We must always choose to share the goodness of the Lord with others, regardless of their reactions. All must know the goodness of the Lord and it is our
calling to share His goodness, His power, His loving grace in our lives with others. |
