As we remember 9/11, we remember the deaths,
the great sacrifices, the many kindnesses and heroic
deeds, and the vows
to stand strong for God and country made ten years ago
on this date. So where are we today? Have we grown
closer to God?
Are we the leaders that God intends for us to be? Today,
how would we and how do we respond to those in danger?
Would
we disregard our own lives to reach out and help or save
someone else? What kind of community of believers have
we become?
In these years that have passed, what has God done for
you that you can now do for another person? All of these
questions
remind us that we are called to stand strong and to act
for the Lord every moment of our lives. What God has
done in us is
to make us able to take on the character and conduct of
a Christian, to be Christ-like. So this day and
everyday, are we
remembering to stand for Christ and to do His will in
all ways?
