God will place us in
situations in which we have to apply His principles.
Although believers must know and live these
principles, we cannot automatically just jump into
actions. We must still pray, consulting with the Lord
for what he wants us
to do in His name. God requires us to use His
discernment in all situations. Discernment is the coming
together of mind and
Spirit to make righteous judgments. These judgments not
only help us to do what God wants us to do, but also
enables us
to help others fulfill God’s purposes. Discernment is of
God and helps us to walk in the image, the Spirit, and
righteousness
of Jesus Christ. |
