Our song of worship says that “I am not ashamed of
the Gospel of Jesus Christ.” As we sing unto the Lord,
we are reminded
that we must not be ashamed of what God has done for us
through His Son, Jesus Christ, or Jesus will be ashamed
of us
when we come before Him and the Father. God has done so
much for us to bring us to wholeness, as Jesus did for
the
disabled man in John 5. He healed the man who had been
seeking God’s healing for 38 years. The man had been so
focused
on being healed that he did not even know who Jesus was.
When he was healed , he went into the temple to worship
and
rejoice. Jesus met him there, told him who He was, and
warned him to sin no more. This man who became
whole through
Jesus Christ, left the temple and told everyone that
Jesus had healed him. He was not ashamed of Jesus
Christ.
We must not be ashamed to share what Christ has done in
our lives.
