What do you do when you know that God has promised
you something, but things happening around you seem to
say that
He has forgotten you? You want God to show up for you
the way that you want and dictate. However, God shows up
in
the way that you need Him to show up. He knows what is
best for us. He will prepare us to properly receive and
handle the
promises that He will fulfill in our lives. We must
realize that if we are going to walk effectively as His
children in this world,
we have to let God take control of us. This is the
lesson that David learned as he went through many trials
and tribulations
as God prepared him to be the King of Israel as God had
promised him. All of us must be faithful to God as He is
faithful to us
in fulfilling His promises in us and for us.
