Christians are called by God to be His royal
priesthood. Do you know what priests are called to do?
They are servants of
the Almighty God called to serve God’s people. They are
to teach the people how to live holy before God. Priests
intercede
for the people, presenting the people’s sins before God
for the cleansing and deliverance of the people from
sin. As a priest
you are in the “middle” between God and evil. Priests
are buffers in this world, enabling many people to turn
from sin and to
live for God. This is why Christians must be totally
submitted and obedient to God and whatever He calls us
to do. God
entrusts us to deliver His word and to live holy before
Him. We can do all of this because God takes care of our
every need.
Even in the face of persecution, we can rejoice in God
Who is so faithful to us.
