It is easy to say that you
love God when things in your life are going well. But
when challenges and obstacles come what
do you do? To be a Christian means that you are to live
in the joy and the peace of the Holy Spirit, in the good
times and in
the challenging times. The Spirit teaches us, guides us,
and comforts us. This is the reason why believers should
do nothing to
quench or squash the Spirit. He directs us on what the
Father and the Son want for each of us. The Holy Spirit
makes it possible
for us to achieve what the Father wants us to be and do.
It is the Holy Spirit Who allows Christ to work through
us to edify His
Body. Do not cause God to regret that His Spirit has
come to reside in you. Do not let this world and its
foolishness cause
you to quench the Spirit. Instead always rejoice and
praise God always! Open yourself to His perfect will.
