| Suffering is something with which Christians are very familiar. The question is not if we will suffer or when we will
suffer. The real question is how we suffer. God blesses us in so many ways in this life on earth, but Jesus tells us that we will also have trials and tribulations in this world.
Jesus reminds us that He suffered in this world, but He indeed overcame the world. In Christ, we will also overcome this world. Suffering is what we go through with faith, courage,
patience and steadfastness, keeping our eyes on our Lord and holding onto His powerful hand. As we do this, we will be examples to others in how God blesses us and keeps us. God never
leaves us. He will make His face to shine upon us so that others will find their way to the Lord. This is the work that He requires of us in the Body until He returns in the second coming. |
