When God created the world and all that was in it, all was good. When sin came into the world by the sin of Adam and Eve,
there was evil. But we know that God, our loving Father seeks to save His people from sin. He wants us always to see and choose the good that is in us and in others. We must also know
what is evil so that we can expose it and avoid it as He teaches us to do. Jesus reminds us that only a “good tree” can bear good fruit. The corrupt or evil tree brings forth
evil fruit. God will destroy the corrupt tree “…and cast it into fire.” Can you tell the good tree from the corrupt tree so that you can produce good fruit and help others
to do the same? |
