Ephesians 2:4-5 (Part3) |
When someone offers you a gift, what do you do? If it
is a gift that can meet our every desire and need, we
would accept
it, wouldn’t we? Our Father Who is the Creator and
Sustainer of all things, loves each of us and wants us
to be with Him. He
does everything to bring us to Him. He even gave His
only begotten Son to be the total sacrifice for our sins
when we were
lost in that sin. God truly loves us and covers us with
His grace. There are no greater gifts than His love and
grace. Yet many
of us confess that we believe in Jesus Christ, but we do
not accept the gift of His love and Grace. Some of us
even hold on
to the sin experiences, wallowing in self-pity. Some of
us are caught up in our own arrogance, mistakenly
thinking that we
can fix our own faults before we come to the Lord.
Nothing that we can do will fix us so that we can
approach God outside
of accepting His love and allowing Him to cover us in
His grace, the way He wants to do. After all, He loves
us so very much
and He owns everything and can control everything. Why
would you rebel against Him instead of seeking Him?
