We have been studying and examining Ephesians. As
we complete chapter 5 and enter chapter 6, we see that
God is now
dealing with the children that come out of a holy union
between a husband and wife. As the Church, Christians
are the Bride of
Christ and give birth and raise holy children. Paul
reminds us as parents and as children “…to obey your
parents as in the Lord:
for this is right.” Our Holy Father is our Holy Parent
Who has raised us up in Righteousness and in His image.
He has cleansed
us, He has delivered us unto Himself, and He has made it
possible for us to reflect Him to the world. Like
Father, like Son!
Like Parents like children!
