When we submitted our lives
to Christ, what do you believe was the deal? The deal or
the covenant is that in giving
our lives to Him we are fulfilling the plan that He has
for our lives and for our being. He will take control in
our lives and We
will be walking and talking reflections of Him. We will
shine forth His glory, His honor, His goodness and His
righteousness.
We must remember this and live this no matter how ugly
the things around us may get. No matter how much the
darkness
of evil surrounds us, tries to touch us and even touches
the lives of our loved ones. We must focus on the Lord,
His joy,
and His peace. His Spirit is our ever constant
companion, directing us and protecting us on our earthly
journey to the
kingdom of God to live with Him forever. The foolishness
and the evil that exist in this world will all be burned
away.
Do not let anyone distract us or rob us of what God has
for us. Keep your eyes on God and His promises. |
