| We are following Jesus as He carries out His earthly ministry as He is led by the Holy Spirit. We are so blessed to
observe and learn from the Lord as He teaches, touches, and delivers people from their sins and their captivities. Now we are with Him as He enters Jerusalem at the time of the feasts.
The Jews and their leaders come together to thank God the Father for His many blessings in their lives and their nation. As we enter Jerusalem in John 5:1-4, we see people coming together
to celebrate the feasts, but we also see great suffering in the very midst of the celebrating. Do those who are celebrating not see those who are so greatly suffering? Let us pray that we
who are following Christ and celebrating Him with thanksgiving, never are so callous as to ignore those who God puts before us to meet their needs. |
