The book of James is calling the Body of Christ to be all of what God calls us to be, to God and to each other. We must grow
to avoiding all partiality and appearances of evil directed at any of our brothers and sisters in Christ. We are called to pray earnestly and in doing so, we will experience the power of
God in our prayer life. The term “pray earnestly” means that if we are earnest in our prayers, all of who we are and all that is within us becomes intimately aligned in our
Father, and we experience His mighty power in His answer to our prayers. In earnest prayer God takes over. We are also expected to pray earnestly, to be one with our Father and to use the
power that He gives to each of us to address the needs of the Body of Christ, especially in converting souls to Christ.
