Leviticus
23:33-44 (Part1) |
Matthew 6:9-11
(Part2) |
John 14:26-27
(Part3) |
In the Bible in the Old
Testament and in the New Testament we learn about the
Festival of Booths. God commanded
the Israelites after their long journey to the Promised
Land to always remember how He freed them from slavery
in Egypt,
brought them through the Red Sea to the Promised Land.
Most importantly, God wanted them to remember their
disobedience
and sinfulness that caused many of them not to make it
into the Promised Land. Like the Israelites, today we
must never
forget God’s goodness, His patience and His grace as He
leads us to heaven to be with Him. Like the Israelites
many of us
fall short of His glory, but He loves us anyway and
allows us to choose Him and He saves us. This is so much
to be thankful
for in the Name of Jesus. We must never forget to be
thankful for all that He does for us. |
