God directed the Hebrews to
always remember their history and victories as a result
of God’s intervention in their lives.
They had so much for which to be thankful in their walk
with the Lord. So God called on the Hebrews to thank Him
through
their yearly celebration of the Feasts of Tabernacles.
Like the Hebrews, we too are called on by God to always
give
thanksgiving and praise unto Him. He has brought us out
of slavery under sin; He loves us and blesses us always;
and He
provides for our every need. Praise God always and thank
Him always for all that he does for us. While we
celebrate
Thanksgiving this Thursday, let us remember to Whom we
give thanks and why we give thanks to Him. Let us also
remember
to thank God every day and every moment of every day,
because God is so good and faithful to us, His children.
