| All too often we are bombarded by events in the world. How we handle these things depends on our true relationship with God. Many of us who are
Christians praise God with our mouths, yet our actions do not line up with our words. Too often there are some Christians trying to live and say that they are seeking God, but too often they are distracted by
the events of the day. When this happens, they may find themselves questioning God’s truth like Zechariah. God sent an angel to announce that Zechariah’s prayers were answered by God. Zechariah
questioned God’s message and gift, with consequences. Do we question God’s truth, because of what we see happening around us in the physical world, as though God does not control these things? Or
are we like Mary, who accepts God’s blessings and moves forward to be used by God – all to His glory and no matter what things look in the physical world.
