Jesus as Jesus teaches and ministers to the multitudes. They witness the true power of Jesus and can confidently testify that Jesus is the Messiah by the works and power He performs. John the Baptist
surely knows that Jesus is Who He says He is. John has truly made the way for Jesus and the kingdom of God as He was directed by God. Jesus confirms the greatness of John the Baptist and the work that
he has done for us to receive the kingdom of God through Jesus Christ. Jesus reminds us that every person, no matter how small, will receive the kingdom of God when we accept and confess Jesus Christ as
Lord. Like John the Baptist we have work to do in bravely pushing forward as mighty witnesses for the kingdom of God so that others can know and accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. |
