| So many of us are involved in activities that lead to the Christmas celebration. Let us not forget Who we celebrate
and why we celebrate Him. The celebration is that God the Father sent His only begotten Son from heaven to earth, led by the Holy Spirit, to save us from our pitiful sinful existence
that we chose to live. In fact, we were not living, we were dead in those sins. We were the walking dead that Jesus describes in His talks with the Jewish leaders who rejected Him and
wanted to kill Him. We celebrate Jesus because He has set us free from the bondage and death of sin. What a special and holy gift that our loving Father has given to us in the life of
Christ and His unfailing Holy Spirit. Think on this unfailing and eternal Gift that only Jesus provides. All that He calls you to do is accept it so that you become part of His holy
priesthood and are no longer among the walking dead. |
