God’s Word is so wonderful! He
shares with each of us how He laid out His plan to save
us and to deliver us from sin and
death. So often we forget that our celebration of
Christmas is the celebration of our deliverance and our
hope through the
coming of Jesus Christ to earth. God began His plan for
our salvation as soon as mankind brought sin into this
world. He put
everything in place so that His purpose could be
accomplished and continues to be fulfilled in the lives
of His children. As we
examine all of the events that took place, we see God’s
hand in all of it. His work down through the ages shows
us how He is
in control of everything, especially in our personal
lives. This is God’s faithfulness that gives us reason
to believe in Him and to
continue our faith and hope in Him.
