We have been in the
process of moving toward our annual celebration of the
birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. It has
been exciting as we examine God’s plan from the
beginning of all things. His plan has been always to
love us and for us to be
with Him for all eternity. When we failed in fulfilling
His plan, He immediately established a path for all of
humankind to return
to Him through His Son. The birth of Jesus Christ is the
fulfillment of God’s promise to all who believe in Him.
We are required
to act in faith to accept His wonderful gift, just as
Mary did, when Gabriel announced the coming birth of a
Son to her. There
was no hesitation in her; she gladly accepted her new
role. Do we accept our God-given roles in God’s plan
with the same
commitment and enthusiasm?
God’s plan confirms what God promised for salvation for all of
humanity way back in Genesis 3:15. |
