So many people talk about
the need for peace in our world. Some of us seek
politicians, rulers, ministers, and other
celebrities that talk about peace. Some of us want them
to take charge and bring peace to the world. The truth
is that this
can never happen. All peace resides in our Savior and
Lord Jesus Christ. Unless we individually and personally
accept Him as
Savior and Lord, there will be no peace in the world.
The peace that only Jesus can give to us comes only from
Him. When
we have the presence of His Spirit residing in us, we
have everlasting peace. The exciting thing about this is
that His peace
is contagious! So, as believers and doers of His word,
we not only experience His perfect peace, we can infect
others, bringing
His peace to some of the worst situations. Keep His
peace in your heart forever as you walk in His way.
Peace on earth
actually means that we as believers in Christ are the
Peace on Earth.
