Last Sunday we were introduced to the dissension that existed within the earthly family of Jesus. Jesus’ brothers clearly did not
like Jesus. In fact, the brothers may be involved in setting up Jesus to be attacked and/or even killed by the Jews in Jerusalem. Is this an example of sibling rivalry? Or are the family members moved
by something more evil? There are many families and communities that are crippled by hate and jealousies. Jesus calls us to higher and holier purposes and not to be crippled by random personal issues.
We are called to discipleship for the Lord and the kingdom to come. Fulfill your assignment from God. |
