Many people at this time of
the year, propose new resolutions for the New Year.
Perhaps you are about to do the same.
However, many of you looking back at this past year and
years before, see many of your resolutions and goals
unfulfilled. Why?
Perhaps the reason is in the fact that you did not write
the goals down and place them where they are constantly
in your view.
It may even be that you did not choose goals that were
founded in a divine vision. Scripture reminds us that we
need discipline
to accomplish goals that can only come from a divine
vision. “Where there is no vision, the people perish:
but he that keepeth
the law, happy is he (Proverbs 29:18).” Seek God’s
vision for what He wants for all of His children and
your goals will be founded
in His truth, His power, and His faithfulness. After
all, God has a plan for all of His children that is
glorious. Why not consult Him
first, to know what His perfect vision is for each of
us.
