I know that many of us are fighting all kinds of enemies. Yet we can always find comfort in the word of God. I would like us to take time to reflect on Psalms 56: 1 – 4. It reads as follows in the King James version.
1 Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he fighting         daily oppresseth me.
2 Mine enemies would daily swallow me up: for they be many that fight         against me, O thou most High.
3 What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
4 In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear         what flesh can do unto me.

There are people out there trying to stop you by making you feel or think there is no way for you to get out of their control. When we give them the right to enter our minds we become distressed, oppressed and we lose focus on what our goal is. Yet David in this Psalm has the right idea and that is to focus on God.
This is not just to focus in the general sense of the word; but it is to start praising His word and to trust it (rely on it with all that is in you). Can you image what this will do for you and how those enemies will see you. Take a moment to reflect on not just yourself, but on the One, you are praising. Why are you praising Him? Is it because He cannot lose? On the other hand, is it because He has given you a peace that allows you to see things differently now and to walk differently? Are you walking with the confidence that God has you in His hands (which is a place of safety, love and joy). Now if you believe this you must walk in this truth daily. Also know that you are showing those enemies that God is real and He wants them in His hands too.
